Wooden hand carved fish created without patterns and part of the Arkansas Series of fish named after towns, cities and areas in Arkansas. Painted in muted watercolors which allows the natural wood grain/knots to show through the colors. Sealed in 8 coats of a high grade, high gloss marine varnish which will protect the colors against damage or fading regardless of were the fish is placed. "Arkansas Post" is named after the first town established here in Arkansas even before the Arkansas became a state. Measuring 24 inches in length, is 18 inches wide and has a glass green eye. There are eye hooks with wire for easy hanging located on the back. Comes signed, dated, numbered along with the name by wood burning on the back. The back of the fish also has 2 coats of varnish.
