This is a Custom ‘Intuitive Fine Art’ item. Its original name is: ‘Chart your Own Course of Life’s Path.’
Design was created for a dear friend & is quite detailed. It included a ‘spiritual reading’ to describe all its elements with assistive ideals on ‘how to live life well.’ Some aspects of its narrative are incorporated into a book I am currently writing.
‘Charting Life’s Path’ was in an Art Show May & June 2011 and received many great comments.
People liked the idea of a Compass, the Four Seasons & Four Corners of Earth & it shows the types of places on Earth: Mountains, Oceans, Deserts, Forests & Weather & Earth’s Natural Changing Nature!
Project Specifications
Frame: 8.75 inches high x 10.75 inches wide overall, Custom Painted Wood to reflect a natural element of Earth, a daylight sky with lavender & purple of intuition & white for the Light of God.
Mat: Double White Mat & on the front of the mat, I wrote: ‘2011-Feb-26 ~Chart your Own Course of Life’s Path © Created & Designed ~by Maureen.’ On the back of the inside small mat, I wrote as above & ‘Began: Summer 2010 & Finished February 2011.’ Actual date I started it was August 20, 2010.
Screen Size: 5.5 inches high x 7.5 inches wide.
Stitch Size: 10 stitches per inch.
Threads: Pearl Cotton, Cotton & Metallic strand embroidery, some mixed to create colors that do not exist.
Method: Artistic Needlepoint, i.e., ‘painting with thread.’
