	click images below for alternate view     Summer Charm Wallhanging Sisters In Stitches (see more by this artist) This piece is part of a series of "charm" quilts. This piece reflects on the Summer season when all the grass and leaves are at their deepest green color. It measures 15 1/2" x 18 3/4". 126 different fabrics are used in this piece. 8 whites, 10 tans, 32 blues and 48 greens make up the center of the piece. 28 blacks were joined end to end to make the frame around the center. No 2 fabrics are repeated in the entire piece. A rectangle shape is hand quilted at intervals from the center of the quilt, out. The piece is hand quilted and hand bound. A grey binding is used to finish the piece. The backing is traditional, unbleached muslin. Crafted in a smoke-free and animal-free environment. (c) 1995 Jean M.
