	Robby the Robot RAYMOND LANG The classic robot Robby,from the movie Forbidden Planet. I painted this from a magazine ad,advertising Jim Beam,and it was a two page spread. I painted the left page,whilst on the other,it has the city on the right side,against the alien landscape. I know Robby is dark grey in colour,but this ad had him in a chrome finish! Looks like the ad was done in like an air-brush finish,as it is so perfect. I have used poster paint and watercolour on A1 paper 33 x 23 inches. This is one of many from my private collection.
