I am inspired by nature and God's beautiful gifts in this world.
Sarasota, Fl is where my love of painting all began. I am self taught oil painter starting in 1985 until 2000, until I fell in love with watercolor. I knew I needed a challenge artisticlly and studied the beauty of this medium from my mentors residing in WV, MD and KY.
Private owners and businesses throughout the USA own my work. Some of my paintings are commissioned, while most of the time I paint for my classes and the pleasure of it.
I am a Professional Watercolorist and a member of the David L. Dickirson Fine Arts Gallery in "Tamarack", with several sales of fine art original watercolor paintings and prints, located in Beckley, WV. I am also a member of TSAA and Allied Artists, both in WV.
I teach watercolor workshops in KY, OH, and WV with weekly classes in Ashland, KY.
My expressive, impressionistic style of painting is done in a wet on wet style with some details. |
