 Hi! I’m Becky Christenson and I own an art studio and gallery in Bentonville, Arkansas called ART. Located at 2004 S.E. 14th Street (Hwy102). I make custom, one of a kind architectural ceramic pieces on commissioned basis as well as paintings, clay sculpture, concrete sculpture, custom ceramic sinks, bird baths, fireplace surrounds, custom tile, and much more. The inspiration that connects the diverse media and techniques I create comes from nature, especially inspired by nature while at my cabin in Madison County, Arkansas.
I am a past President of the Associated Artist’s of Phillbrook Art Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma and demonstrated my work there. A graduate of the Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville, Arkansas, I also have studied under several national and internationally known artists in workshops. I taught art for four years at Saint Vincent de Paul School in Rogers and have taught private lessons since 1996. In addition to completing
numerous commissioned works, I was chosen to do a public installation of painted clay tile work at Creation Park in Rogers, AR. My art is found in homes nationally and internationally.
I currently am working of a public installation for The Benton County School of the Arts in Rogers, Arkansas doing mosaic on ferro cement. When finished I will post photos on this site.
I am also a portrait artist painting both people and animals. I have won many awards in art shows and my work has appeared in private collections, in one woman shows, galleries and group shows.
