"Touching" - EH-812

Touch is a two-sided experience, not merely gesture or a one way performance. There is the giving and the receiving; two actions of which most people are afraid. When touch is offered as a conscious polite “physical performance”’ by the giver, the recipient will actually receive only the performance of having been touched. They will not have been Touched at all.
When Touching becomes the juice of communication from the innermost Center of Light in our being - a real and intrinsic offering is made by the Giver. The recipient, on the other hand, must be open to receive and if so - will be Touched and a fullness and a change will be realized. Whether or not the recipient will act upon that realization, becomes choice. They have been Touched, and if they choose to carry the fruit of that Touch to the fullest - will become more then they were; they become whole, and in turn, and if it is right for them, can also be for others the Giver of Touch.

The Image:
“In this image we are represented as the color surrounding the dark center. It is as if we are looking through a mask held in front of our faces at a short distance away, allowing us to peek selectively through the eye holes toward the Light in the darkness. We really don’t want the artificiality of the mask, but what is beyond. In the central darkness is the Light of the Universe, ‘Light from Light’ spiraling toward us, being offered to us. Do we allow ourselves to be Touched by this Light? Touching effects change in the one who is Touched.” (a-f)
