"Morning Sun" - Image: EH-105

When Night Rolls Over to a New Day
This is an archival production.
A portrait of The George Washington Bridge photographed in September 2006 is presented as a golden tinted “bas relief” (actually an accident). However, I soon learned that when the bridge was originally designed, one suggestion was to cover the bridge with stone, so this “accidental” picture has become this artist’s rendering of that design.
The vantage point for the photography was the top of a cliff in Manhattan, NY overlooking the Hudson River. Below the bridge note the blur of traffic moving south along the tree-lined ramps connecting the bridge with Riverside Drive or the West Side Highway. Note also the superb lighting effects bringing out the detailing of the bridge towers, and the dimming light of a harvest moon with puffy cloud sailing by above the New Jersey Palisades. It took eleven months to complete this image.
An Original Fine Art Archival Photograph printed by the photographic-artist on Heavy 215gsm 12 mil Enhanced Matte High Resolution Photographic Art Paper using Archival Pigments. The image is shipped and temporarily mounted on an acid free foamcore backing in a protective acid free clear re-sealable envelope.
Note that each piece is printed especially for your order. There can be no returns.
