 I currently live in Norcross, GA. I have been painting since October of 2003. With lots of prayer and desire, I have taught myself how to paint. I believe my talent is a gift from God, that I plan to use to the fullest...I believe he gave us our gifts to share with others, and not hide them. I enjoy feeling my way through a project, seeing where it takes me. I am always so pleasantly surprised at the end result. Most often when I paint, draw, or do a mosaic, I don't start w/ a picture in mind. I just start, and pray that God takes it in the direction he wants it to go. And when I do get commissioned to do a painting, mural, or project for someone, from a photo, or specific idea, I just pray he lets me do it justice.
I have been commissioned to do several pieces, and have even had some work in a gallery in Ohio in 2003 when I first started painting. My piece , I Am, placed Honorable Mention in a National Christian Art Competition, in 2006. And currently, I have just been accepted to participate in the 7th Annual New England Christian Arts Council Festival, in June 2008. There website address is www.newenglandchristianartscouncil.org . I have also been commissioned to do murals in two seperate churches, two in Ohio, and one in Georgia. I have found I love doing murals, because of the size.
All artwork is original. And all prints are on archival paper, using archival ink. Besides my work that is for sale, I am also available for commissioned work. Whether it is painting freely, turning a photo into a painting, painting a mural, or turning an old run down piece of furniture into a work of art by adding a beautiful mosaic onto it, I can do it.
