Hi to all who take the time to visit this page, to learn a little about Captured Image and the owners. We are Clarence (CB) and Lorraine Spady. We live in a little town in the State of Maine called Union. This is a very small town, with very nice people, that only a small town can have. We live on a dirt dead end road. There are a lot of trees and nature outside of our windows.
We have deer, Moose, and lots of turkeys just to name a few things that live on our road with us.
All of our neighbors who live on this road kind of look out for each other. Union is about half way between the state capital and the ocean.
Our primary business is Note cards and "Hanging Art". We also do event photography, and environmental portraits. We also do pet photography. Our work has been displayed in local banks, restaurants and business, and now on the Internet.
CB has been an avid outdoors man for most of his life. He likes to hike, be on any kind of a boat from sails to paddle, He is the happiest when he is outdoors. That is why we do environmental pictures. Go where you are the happiest.
CB is a Machinist/toolmaker by occupation. This is the job that pays the bill. He is a photographer by the sheer love of the art. He loves to bring what he sees to others. He like to photograph flowers, lighthouses, animals and people. Or anything that is outside.
CB uses a Nikon D200, Nikon film from old manuals to automatics. He likes film better than digital, but finds he has to use the digital to keep up with the rest of the world. He also has a med. format camera.

Lorraine was a mechanic for the past 10 years. I am now unemployed, as the company that I worked for closed down and moved over seas. I
went over seas to train the people who would be doing my job. The reason I bring this up is because before I left I went out and bought a high end Point and shoot camera. It had some SLR
features. When I got home and got a chance to look at the hundreds of photos that I had taken I found that I had an eye for photography. So I have only been doing this for little over a year.
by the way I now have a much nicer camera, I use a Nikon D70 and I am looking to trade up to a D200 also. I will admit that if I am out on the 4-wheeler I still use my point and shoot.
I want to thank all of you who visit this page and take time to read it. I will be editing it from time to time and changing things around, but for now this is a small look at the people behind the pictures in this gallery.
