"A solitary gull is poised at the edge of a dock. We look down upon it in anticipation of its impending flight out over the murky water of the bay."
Artist Comments: "I have long been intrigued by the Pacific coastal seagulls. Their poses and attitudes are an ongoing inspiration to me. The gull depicted here is seen on the rough boards of a dock, somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. Looking down, you can observe the coloration of its back and wing feathers. I chose this view because it offered the opportunity to show a seagull from another perspective."
