Artist Comments: "In this oil painting on canvas, I have chosen to depict these diminutive shore birds as they skitter along the waterline. I like the way the warm colors of their wings stand out against the cool values of the water. The reflections in the foreground add to the composition."
"Sanderlings" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original oil painting by Carol Thompson. Edition length is 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs). Prints on paper are signed and numbered by Carol Thompson, include a signed certificate of authenticity, and are shrink wrapped on fome board. Prints on canvas are signed and numbered by Carol Thompson, include a signed certificate of authenticity, and are gallery wrapped (the image is extended or mirrored to wrap around the sides of wooden stretcher bars and stapled to the back) so the print can be displayed framed or unframed. Other products are not signed or numbered unless specifically noted.
