 I paint from photos I have taken, my subjects include but are not limited to playgrounds, landscapes, fruit and vegetables. My latest series has a focus on wheels and includes (so far) roller skates, vehicles and bicycles.
I have a large collection of paintings I have done ranging in sizes from 9x12 to 14x18 inches mostly, painted on canvas. I paint around the edge of the canvas so the painting continues.
My paintings are bright and colorful. I enjoy working in themes to create series of paintings that focus on close-ups of one subject. I travel with my camera and am always looking for potential subject matter to paint from.
I have been an elementary school art teacher for the past 19 years and I paint just about every day
in one way or another.
