|My art covers several media including oil and acrylic paintings, pencil drawings, and photography. Much of my work has been inspired by 20 years of living in the southwestern United States near and among Native American people. My love for art has been lifelong but it wasn’t until 2003, after receiving diagnosis of a potentially terminal illness, that I began a full commitment to my passion for art, a commitment that I feel helped me survive and overcome that illness.
I am in my 9th semester at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where I am formally studying fine art and photography. I am currently living north of Taos, in a small community called Arroyo Hondo, New Mexico.
