Much of my work has been inspired by 20 years of living in the Southwestern United States near and among Native American people. My art covers oil paintings, pencil drawings, photography, and a novel I am writing.
My love for art has been lifelong but it wasn't until the year 2002, after receiving a diagnosis of a potentially terminal illness that I began a full commitment to my passion for art, a commitment that I feel helped me survive and overcome that illness.
I am currently a resident in Boulder Creek, California, where I am restoring a cabin and building an art studio within which to live and work. I am also attending the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California as a fine arts major. I am in my second year and fourth semester working towards a BFA. |
