|After 11 semesters or over four years of classes at the Academy of Art University I am a member of the graduating class Fall 2013 with a Fine Arts Photography Degree.
Much of my artwork in the mediums of oil, acrylic, and pencil illustration has been inspired by 20 years of living in the Southwestern United States near and among Native American people.
My love for art has been lifelong but it wasn't until the year 2002, after receiving a diagnosis of a potentially terminal illness that I began a full commitment to my passion for art, a commitment that I feel helped me survive and overcome that illness.
In the past several years while attending AAU., I have added photography to my artwork capturing events locally and within several states around the New Mexico area.
