Layers of Drift

I shot this picture in January of 2008 while snow shoeing on Donner Summit.
This drift looked like cliffs only they are white, wind swept, snow, and ice.
I do not recommend snow shoeing on the summit do to snow drifts that could give way. Drifts are among granite boulders and serious injuries may happen.
