Art can look stunning in the most unexpected places. Have you considered your kitchen, or below a passthrough, in a bathroom, powder room, laundry room, family room, library/study, children's rooms, studio and work spaces, or layering paintings above or below other paintings? About me: There are many labels attached to the art of a self-taught artist: Folk art; outsider art; art brut and raw art. I am not sure which label applies to my art. Although I painted now and then throughout my life, I have been painting full-time since August 2006, when I sold my first painting on eBay. From time to time I have considered returning to school to earn a degree in art. But instead I just keep doing what I am doing and enjoying it too much to take time out for a formal art education.
