MATERIAL: FLEXAL patching material, acrylic paint COLORS: Shades of green, salmon, cream,and purple. Painting continued on sides. Studied several forms of Sandstone, from the usual striated forms and patterns we know, the colorful forms of Petra, to the green hued of India called Raj sandstone. Heavily textured with raised elements and highly coarse combed striations. I call it " A Clast of It's Own" after the classification of sandstone. This multimedia painting is quite intricate.
