Painting continues on sides Not the mathematical "mean", but Aristotle's - the idea of a mean between two extremes. I was told the piece seemed it was between heaven/hell or earth/sky. Large orb, with a textured scar on the surface,and other planets,seem to be accelerating toward the viewer. Ornate gold designs added balance the free floating forms, and accent the gold and rose space.
