I am a member of the Pikes Peak Plein Aire painters and painting on location is wonderful! Have been doing it for 20 years.
I'm also on facebook and have a blogspot started 01-01-10 called BartosArt. You can find it at BartosArt.blogspot.com. It's called "A Painting A Day and What I Learn from It." I do my best to create a new painting every day, but sometimes pull from the archives and do reworks of older paintings. It's all educational!
NEW THIS SUMMER (2010)I will be teaching Week Long Plein Aire Painting workshops here in Colorado. I would like to also plan a trip to Giverny (Monet's home) for a week of garden and art immersion, and a week in Tuscany for a farmhouse,vineyard,and hilltown painting experience. My framed art materials(including framing) are artist grade archival, made to last. Oils and watercolor paints are water-soluble, non-toxic. I've studied with wonderful artists and continue to learn and grow through travel and art, because it is my passion.
