 Welcome to my galleries! I am originally from the Adirondack Mountain Region in Upstate New York, where I spent most of my free time exploring nature. I now live in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. My husband and I do alot of hiking and nature exploring. This is where most of my time is spent and where I get my inspiration. I have been taking photographs for quite some time and finally decided to take the next step to share and display my work.
Currently, I have a pet portrait titled "Precious and Few", a photograph of my beloved tabby feline, Spirit, published in a coffee table anthology, as well as subject to be printed in a future issue of Cat Fancy Magazine. I also have a photo album featured on Webshots. I have also sold several portraits locally to area business offices.
I use all Canon equipment, both digital and 35 mm film. Along with Speed lights, macro rings, and various lens'. Printing and scanning are also done with Canon equipment. I use Adobe programs for my digital art work and enhancing. Only the finest quality archival paper is used for printing, and only the highest quality canvas for Giclee` prints.
Photography and Art are my passions, and I believe that combining the two go hand in hand. A photographer is an artist, and a photograph is a work of art within itself. Digital art not only enhances an original photograph, but allows the artist to explore new territories with the ability to create each particular image into a new and exciting masterpiece.
I create many styles of digital art work from my original photographs. You will see a wide variety of works,(both digital art and photography) from Flora (from my own gardens), to Fauna. From my beloved pets, to scenic mountain views as well as waterfalls, wildlife, insects and anything else I find interesting on the forest floors in our adventures. We love "our mountains". It is a place where we find peace and comfort in our bodies, minds, and spirits.
My work is sold matted(white,ivory or black, to suite the portrait in sizes up to 11 x 14 ONLY),unframed. I feel that by choosing your own frame to suite your individual taste will add a unique and personal touch to each piece.
Each piece is printed on your choice of high quality Professional photo paper (Glossy finish), high quality Professional Portrait Studio photo paper (Satin finish), or Giclee print on high quality Professional cotton cloth painter's canvas.(High Resolution files are also available for commercial and stock, with or without my signature and without watermark on CD ROM).**Any piece may also be printed in larger custom sizes** (16x20,18x24,20x32,24x36, etc.as well as custom size posters at your request,in glossy finish only,and unmatted-prices will vary.)

All works are also available as the original photograph. Each piece up to 11 x 14 will be shipped flat and well protected. Larger sizes will be shipped unmatted, in a heavy duty shipping cylinder.
