Philip's photographic career began with a blaze of recognition from his peers. After a successful hairdressing career spanning 25 years, he took a different direction six years ago & already has a string of awards & competition successes including... Winner of International Photography Association's Outstanding Achievement in Photography 2004. Semi finalist IPA open division 2004. Finalist in Premiers Australia Day Photographic Competition 2003.
He has a passion for the Australian Outback and it is shown in his landscape photography.
He quotes “the colors of the Outback are a true inspiration for my work. Mother Nature is the true artist. Everyone should take a long enjoyable look at her gallery. She doesn’t charge an admission fee”.
Philip is also the Events Coordinator for Photofest Australia & the Queensland Open Photographer of the Year Awards & Exhibition as well as the Australian Open Photographer of the Year Awards.
