She studied Visual Arts in Quebec then Design at l'Université du Quebec à Montréal. Having worked as an interior designer during the education of her two sons, she is now entirely devoted to painting. She presently lives in Beloeil, in Montérégie. Deeply marked by nature and childhood happiness; the family cocoon and the simple life are her force and inspiration. Of hypersensitive personality, this fragile butterfly woman needs freedom. The style of her paintings, influenced by several of her favorite painters, remain however different because they correspond to a unique and major need for light and color. The figurative and contemporary aspect of her art often tends towards abstraction because the dream often takes over reality. Her art enables her to reveal and restaure herself; it is catalyst of emotion, sensitivity and pleasure. A meeting with color, sensitivity, peace and happiness is what Suzanne Perreault offers.
