Price: 300$ ************************************* La Galerie Fleur De Lys is proud to present the works of Quebec artist YVES BARIL Born in Sherbrooke on October 3, 1962, I got interested in pictorial art at the age of 13. I moved in 1971 to the Montreal area. I studied Visual arts in College from 1984 to 1987, then Arts and Science (Certificate) at the University of Montreal, then Art History (Baccalaureat), then professional creativity applications from 1998 to today. Of solitary and dreamy nature, I am easily drawn towards surrealism. Very curious, I am fascinated by the media of image, therefore pop art characterizes my work, without mentioning a very personal technique of pointillism . This technique enables me to work the details on a level seldom reached in Art. A work can naturally take several months before finishing it. Today I practise mixed media on wood panel and paper.
