What is the buying process?
The buying process basically occurs in the following order: You find an item you'd like to purchase, you add the item to your shopping cart, you proceed to checkout and submit the order. The seller is then notified of the order and provides the shipping cost. You then pay for the total cost and the seller ships the item to you. Once you receive the order, you click an "Item Received" button and Yessy releases your payment to the seller. You can additionally leave a critique for the seller that potential art buyers can refer to when making a purchasing decision.
What happens when I purchase from multiple sellers?
The process is similiar to the process shown above, however, the processes branches and each seller is notified. Each seller is then responsible for fulfilling their part of the order. In most cases, your credit card is charged separately for each seller. Once a seller accepts their portion of the order, that partial amount is charged to your credit card. You'll receive a separate shipment from each seller.
What if I pay with a check instead of a credit card?
The process is similiar to the processes shown above, however, once your check is received by Yessy, it must be held by Yessy for 7 days before the seller can accept the order. After Yessy receives your check and 7 days have passed, then the seller can proceed with your order. If the check is declined, then the order is cancelled.
How is the seller notified of my order?
The seller is automatically notified of your order immediately via email. Information about the item you're purchasing and your shipping and contact information is provided to the seller. Your credit card information and any other billing information is handled completely by Yessy and is never made available to the seller.
How do I know when my order has been accepted by the seller or that my order has shipped?
When the seller has accepted your order, you are automatically notified via email. You are also automatically notified via email when your item ships, including the tracking information that the seller provides. You can also view the status of your order online by clicking on the link that is provided in the receipt that was emailed to you when you placed your order. Or, if you are a registered user, you can view the status of your order by going to Your Orders & Offers.
What happens if the seller doesn't accept my order?

How long does it take until I receive my order?
The seller is responsible for shipping the item(s) to you. A seller can be located anywhere in the world so in some cases it may take longer than average to receive an item. A single order can also involve multiple sellers in different locations with various shipping details. If needed, you can also contact the seller to check the status on a shipment. The seller's email address is provided in the receipt that was originally emailed to you.

Can I cancel my order?
Yes. You can cancel any part of an order that hasn't yet been accepted by a seller. To cancel an order, first view your order online. Do this by clicking on the link that is in the receipt you received via email. Or, if you are a registered user, you can view the status of your order by going to Your Orders & Offers. Once you are viewing your order online, click the "Cancel Purchase" button next to each item you want to cancel. If the "Cancel Purchase" button is not available for an item, that means the seller already accepted the order. In that case, you will have to contact the seller and try to arrange a refund.

I cancelled my order; what happens to my payment?
Your credit card is not charged until a seller accepts your order, therefore, if you cancelled your order then the seller will not be able to accept your order and your credit card will not be charged. If you paid with a check and then cancelled your order later, then Yessy will void your check when it arrives and you will not be charged. If your check was already deposited and then you cancel your order, Yessy will then refund your payment once 7 days have passed since the check was deposited. If you mailed a check as payment, then Yessy will mail the refund to you using a check.
Why does my credit card have multiple charges for my one order?
Since your order can involve several different sellers, your credit card may show a separate transaction for each seller. For instance, if your order totaled $800; seller 1 might be responsible for $200, seller 2 might be $200, and seller 3 might be $400. These would appear as 3 separate transactions on your credit card statement but they never total more than your original order total.
Where can I view all my purchases, both past and present?
If you are registered, then you can view all your purchases, including your purchase history, by going to Your Account and clicking on Your Orders & Offers.
