My name is James C. Havard, Jr. There is an established artist James Havard and that is not me. I am from Killeen Texas and am self taught and began to doodle symmetric designs because my birthday is on the 8th day 8th month and 8 sides is easy to work with for symmetric doodle designs. My amateur interest in math sparked my curiosity as to what math could do to these designs. My first tool was the TI-58C (about 1980s?) which in a Eureka moment got the idea that the x,y coordinates of any # sided design could be found by polar/rectangular conversion and then the x,y points could be plotted on a poster with a x,y scaled work table. After plotting the points by hand and drawing the connecting lines, the spaces are then painted or filled in checker board style. This was very labor/time consuming and I gave it up a long time ago. However, the math stayed with me for programming computers to produce these latest mathmatically generated images. I use Liberty Basic to write the code to create these images. It is an easy to use computer language, free downloadable on the net. The image is then manipulated with digital photo software for enhancing it and often to get an image quite different looking from the original. Hope you enjoy this eye candy art for sale or just for browsing or botting and thank you Yessy for providing this service which I give five stars. Thanks for taking a look.
