 Be inspired by the high energy art of award winning artist, Jandre.
An emotional artist that paints in an impressionist style, his paintings evoke the energy contained in his subjects. Painting with his fingers, he imparts his emotions directly onto the canvas, where texture has as much to do with the reflection of light as it does with passion.
Traveling extensively, his material is taken from his environment, dominated by his work as a humanitarian - in post conflict countries on infrastructure rehabilitation - and currently in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Botswana.
Initially trained at the Johannesburg College of Art, his potential was recognised by his painting being selected for the Permanent World Children’s Exhibition in Toulouse France. While living in England, he was a 2002 finalist at Patchings; Nottinghamshire. He has a PhD in Business Strategy with an MBA and a BSc in Electrical Engineering. |
