	Boat People Jani Freimann This painting was painted with three transparent watercolors. Cobalt (blue family), New Gamboge (yellow family), and Rose Madder Genuine (red family). I also incorporated the 12 or less breaks of space theory. This was a breakthrough painting for me. An 'ah ha' moment if you will. I had been struggling with the balance of color to water and making 'muddy' paintings. Muddy because I was using to many colors and over mixing. Having successes only by accident until this painting. That year, I sold every painting I painted before the year was over. A new larger original and a limited number of high quality Giclee prints will be available soon.
