This painting is based on a photograph from a trip to New Orleans. The comings and goings of New Orleans housekeepers. Original pencil sketch is also available. I was graciously invited in to see a home that was converted to a very nice hotel. These ladies are beautiful to me. Besides their graciousness, I sensed they were completely content with their job. I also loved how bright white their socks, shoes, and aprons were. I wanted to capture all of this and I think that I did. At least one more version of this painting is in mind to paint. Due to the thick quality of the paper that this painting is on, the original will be packaged and shipped flat with archival foam core and matte. The utmost care and time is always taken to assure safe delivery. The size listed below will frame nicely in a 20x28 ready made frame found at your local craft store.
