	Mercy Sketch Jani Freimann This is a thumbnail sketch that was done prior to painting 'Mercy' on canvas. This was my rendering of 'Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy' from Matthew 5:7 I chose to illustrate the Biblical scene from the verses in John 8:7-9...If any of you is withous sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her. Again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was standing there....(see painted version).
