Garden Mural Jani Freimann
This mural is on an eight foot long wall of a baby girls room. It took a total of 20 working hours from the design to finished work. I wanted it to be a theme that would grow with the child and last up to ten years.
The parents and I came up with this theme on paper together. The mother wanted specific flowers and the father wanted the frog on the chair rail.
I chalked in the design first with white chalk to make sure it had a good composition. The chalk was washed off later with water.
There are five bees painted into the mural. Two by the three Shasta Daisies on the left side and three by the Queen Anne's Lace on the right side. A ladybug sits on a leaf of the Bluebells which are to the right of the Calla Lilies.
