I paint every day; it's my dream job.
When I was in high school, I wanted to be an architect. I began college, thinking I'd like graphic design; the next semester I fell in love with illustration, then painting, then industrial design. Actually, I am piqued by the process of creating things, making something from nothing.
For a while I painted cars from photos taken at vintage car events. I played with hockey images, went abstract, played with watercolor, and am "discovering" abstract play with watercolor, acrylic, and pastel, based on 2-D forms from nature as well as architecture.
I studied at MIAD (Milwaukee Institute of Art& Design) for two years, and received a BFA Industrial Design from UW-Milwaukee in 1990. I've designed seminars for continuing legal/medical education; taught K5-8th grade art; and sold corporate logo apparel on my own.
Feel free to send me reviews, or comments. Thanks for stopping by.
