 Judy has been painting in watercolors since 1994. After taking an introduction to watercolors class, she painted on her own, relying on books for instruction. After she and her husband moved to Florida in 1998, she "got serious" and began regular lessons. She has taken many workshops with such artists as Karen Leffel-Massengill,Jean Uhl Spicer, Terry Madden, Norma DeSantis,Carol Staub,Dan Mallardi and Jean Grastorf.
Her art organization memberships include: Vero Beach Art Club, Art Associates of Martin County, Jensen Beach Art League, the Palm Beach Watercolor Society and is a Signature Member of the Florida Watercolor Society.
Whether a marine scene or a floral, her paintings are filled with rich color with an underlying glow. Judy's love of painting in watercolors is evident in her award-winning work. She has been accepted into many juried art shows and exhibits including the Florida Watercolor Society Annual Exhibit.
Her work hangs in many private collections. |
