 Hi...I'm Ray Buell. Born on Chicago's north side - migrated to Southern California in 1977 (that's the year Elvis died). And now reside in beautiful Prescott Valley, Arizona.
I earned a living painting houses and doing auto painting and body work as well as uphostery in the auto restoration field.
I've been an artist as long as I can remember. Self taught. I love to draw and sculpt and sometimes get lost for hours in my creations. I prefer these mediums - pencil, oil and water paints, air brush, and pastels.. I learned to make my own stone for my carvings (I call it Pearlovstone). I also like working with c lay. Which lead me to make my own molds and do my own castings, usually in hydrostone.
