 ARTIST'S BIOGRAPHY: Laurel Hillary
Laurel Hillary was born in Oklahoma City and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture and Three Dimensional Design from the University of Arizona in Tucson. L. Hillary (as she signs her work) is a multi-award winning artist and has studied with nationally and internationally known artists (see lists below). Her credits include being a juried member of the Artists' Guild of the San Diego Museum of Art, the San Diego Art Institute, the La Jolla Art Association, the Pastel Society of the West Coast, the Escondido Arts Partnership, the Rancho Bernardo Art Association, and the North County Society of Fine Arts, where she served as Co-President. Laurel teaches Collage, Drawing and Oil Pastel classes and workshops at her studio in Rancho Bernardo, California.
