Write a critique G.pollock from Phoenix, Arizona As in the piece "Windstorm," simple lines are used to create a sense of movement, here lines moving towards the cusp of the bowl become individuals almost floating upward. A simple yet powerful technique I hope the artist employs again. His chawan or japanese ceramic eye is excellent; there are many shifting images in the piece. Using simple tools this artist creates something worthwhile.
