	Golden Floral Maggie Ruth This charming piece looks wonderful in a white washed frame. It will make a delightful accent in any home. This colorful 16X20" original painting with collage is executed on Stonehenge 90#, 100% cotton paper. The technique is complex and time-consuming, but well worth the effort. First the piece is designed, then paint is added. This is followed by the paper collage elements, each of which is carefully selected and cut. (Sometimes many different patterns are tried, but the collage is not adhered until the 'right' element is found.) This is followed by the selection and application of the 3D elements: rhinestones, sequins (and so on) which add an unexpected sparkle that catches the viewers eye and draws them into the piece. The final step, a topcoat of varnish, helps seal the collage and heightens the brightness of the colors. This painting is not so large (framed size approx 20X24") that it needs its' own wall, but makes a statement nevertheless. There is a companion piece available, and together will work well above a bed, a sofa or a side board.
