Born: 14th January 1972
Self-taught artist
From when I was young I used to like arts especially drawing where even at school I used to draw a lot. When I was 14 years old I studied arts at the De La Salle, School of Arts in Valletta and I became member of the 'Society of Arts Manufacture and Commerce'. Unfortunately I did not continued studying arts because of my academic studies.
During these years I seldom did anything except for some work I did for people that asked me to paint something for them and some paintings for myself. I like to use all kinds of media including watercolours, acrylics and oils.
At the moment I am trying to revive my talent by dedicating more time for painting, where I am trying to improve my technique in oils. I like to paint Maltese landscapes as well as other imaginative landscaping / seascape, still life and other themes.
All Russian paintings are by Margharita Pervuninskaya, a self-taught artist from the Northern-Western region of Arkhangelsk in Russia. Margharita is inspired by the beauty of nature and all that is around her, which she expresses well by the use of colour and brush strokes. Margharita exhibits her works of art regularly in various art galleries in her region. |
