 I have a passion for photography and nature.
I am drawn to the tiny beings on this planet and to some of the most spectacular things nature offers us. Many people pass by beautiful things in this world on a daily basis without ever realizing they were there. My purpose in photography is to get people to slow down...to look at the tiny things... and the grand things in life... and to appreciate the beauty they hold.
I don’t plan my photo shoots or my subject matter. I don’t search for my subjects – I let my subjects find me.
Many times I can be found working in my garden, when a bumblebee will decide the flower I just pruned makes a tasty snack. Two seconds later I’m running for my camera to capture this beautiful thing.
All of my pictures were taken spur of the moment. I saw something in my garden, while walking, visiting, traveling, or just looking out the window. I always have my camera in easy reach. I like to get close up.
When inspired, I edit my photographs to create digital artwork. In the digital artwork realm, I like to create abstract images of nature. I also like to turn my photos into what appear to be watercolor paintings. I am drawn to impressionist art and many times when looking through the lens, I will envision my subject matter as a painting. Nevertheless, it all begins with the photograph.
I see art in nature. I hope you will too.

I love to create and photography is not my only passion. I am also a singer/songwriter and lead singer/bass player for the band "Manda and the
Marbles". So the other half of my free time is spent writing and composing music on the piano and guitar.

ORDERING INFO:
All prints are signed and where applicable, they are titled. All photos and digital art are printed on Fujicolor Crystal Archive paper. You may select either glossy or matte finish. Matte finish is recommended on digital artwork. All photos and artwork are developed professionally. On digital artwork, photographs were taken with a digital camera and were manipulated digitally to creatively produce a "painting-like" image.
Photographs available in 5x7 or 8x10 size. Other size may be available. Please inquire. Photos are matted as follows: 5x7 matted for 8x10 frame. 8x10 matted for 11x14 frame. Frames not available/included.
