I danced on the edge of overkill on this one, but I imagined the density of telescopic views of deep space where everything is compressed in the image.
My pieces are art pieces. My designs are my own. I do not copy the designs of others and don’t even like to copy my own. I may occasionally create a variation on a design, but I do not duplicate. The exception is when I design for families, wedding parties, or other groups who desire something unique to their occasion. Even so, the nature of most gemstone makes it virtually impossible to create two pieces that are identical.
When I select a large stone to enhance with wire and/or other stones, I just watch it for a while. Seeing its movement in surface textures, colors and contours, I then begin to wrap the wire. It is really quite an organic process, primarily inspired by the stone itself.
Wear it with your favorite jeans, let it peak out from your power blouse, or dress it up for the evening and “Cosmic Dance” will bring an elegant air of confidence to your look.
