This is a drawing, in pastels and watercolor pencil on charcoal paper, of several irises (two in the foreground) and an angel's face, with a southern live oak tree as the unifying element. The elements are concrete but the composition is abstract. The image here shows about 2/3 of the complete work.
The drawing is matted and framed. The mat opening is about 17x23" (horizontal). The mat border is about 3" wide. The frame is off-white with gold trim and also about 3" wide; the outside dimensions are about 36x30".
This work is on exhibit and for sale at Art Affects, at Railroad Square in Tallahassee, during November and December.
