Alpha and Omega Sketch 2a
Michelangelo Zetterq...
Unfinished
Jacob's ladder section. Below is Poseidon walking on water, taking the stance of a Pharaoh carrying the magic wands in the master position. I have elongated them to into acacia wood overlaid with gold to support one level of the ladder as if it was an ark of the covenant; basically an Egyptian anti-gravity device.
Ark of the Covenant, an anti-gravity device.
Master Position
The most common position depicted is the Master Position. The person is standing, the left foot is slightly forward, they are looking straight ahead, one Wand is clenched tightly in each hand and the arms held straight by their side.
The reason that this position is depicted is that it indicated that the person had truly mastered, with the use of the Wands, the ability to move and communicate freely between the material and spiritual planes.
In this position it is possible to project yourself out of your body and forward into the material plane, not directly into the material dimension, but one adjacent. This then allows free and timeless movement to any point on the material plane, it also allows manipulation of the material plane, for example to move objects. This position is also unique in that it is only of use in this material plane and of no use on the other spiritual planes, or when the soul moves on from the material plane and cycle of reincarnation.
I like to paint this position because because it suggests the mastery of levitation, though obviously as ambiguous as the ark has been through out history, flying has been mans greatest fantasy and I can always fly in my dreams.
This is an update on The Pillars of Enoch. Starting below is Jacob's Ladder leaning up the side of The Tree of Life.
Jacob's ladder and the tree of life.
It's a crappy video but it explains the ladder as another Enochian Zohar tree of life.
More Jacob's Ladder Tree of Life Connection
Egyptian connection and the tree pillars (of course my three pillars are represented by the Ducks "The Holy Trinity" also known as the Pyramids of Giza, the Mermaid is the Sphinx or the protector of the pyramids. As you can see the tree of life holds it all together the ladder gives it organization.
My view on classical art. Yes, it is a means to other things but as in music; Classical and Jazz in particular. When one is on the road to master their profession (music or painting) one must eventually and naturally begin to see classical or jazz, in my opinion surrealism and renaissance are my classical and jazz of the visual arts. If you have no creative ability you will be just one or the other, but the great classics will be pillars of support for the greater music or visual art a creative person will be about to create.
