 I am a geomatics \ software engineer and always struggling to find a time for the artworks between my busy schedule. The art is my lifetime hobby and dream, but I had not been quite persistent with it. In 2005, I had a near-death experience, which let me realize how fragile life actually is, and therefore cannot be wasted, and pursuing the art actively and diligently since. I am very shy and unit-social (if not social unable) so art is expressions of my opinions and emotions, which I would like the others to hear. In each painting, I am hoping viewers can hear my voice embedded within it. I am currently a resident of Alberta, Canada, but my heart never has left my home country, Japan. My strong desire is to go back there one day, and this nostalgic feeling often overwhelms me. I am a traditional artist, but also enjoying working in digital paintings and mixed media photography.
Artist Statement:
'There has to be something there of your own. You have to struggle to find your own way to give it expression. If it's a fresh thought then it's likely the form will be fresh too.
