This large, original oil painting is part of the "Living in These Times" series, depicting the stress that people are going through these days. The other piece in the series (so far) is "The Single Mom."
The title, "Just Let Go" has two meanings; all of the corporate tightrope walkers have just been let go (notice the pink slips attached to each of them) and it serves as a friendly reminder that we can't control everything. Sometimes we need to "just let go" and relinquish our desire to control everything, especially when so much is out of our hands. Pray, jog, have a glass of vino with an old friend, brush up your resume...whatever it takes to chill out.
Hang in there, everyone!
