Texture, detail, a different view ~ I look for the simple and common or fantastic and unusual things around me and to explore ways to show them that are uncommon and fresh.
I grew up in Asia, Europe and the Washington, DC area. As an adult I lived in France, then five years in the San Francisco Bay area before moving to Minneapolis, where I now live with my family. While I have always been a writer, I have had a passion for art since childhood. I've dabbled in painting and drawing, but in digital photography I have found "my" medium of expression.
