Jennie Rosenbaum is an emerging artist specializing in contemporary figurative pieces. She works continually with her passion for the human body, exploring contemporary styles and media. Her art is rich, frequently confronting and varied in style, context and meaning.
Jennie excelled at art and design at school, winning several awards and has studied art, anatomy and design at a university level. Jennie has been working professionally as an artist for three years following a car accident. Painting was a part of her rehabilitation and became a way to manage her feelings and pain. Despite her disability Jennie still considers the accident beneficial as it allowed her to get back in touch with her art.
Jennie has always been drawn to the figure and to nudes, but now she has a greater appreciation for the sensuality and mystery of the human body. Jennie has since immersed herself in nude art and, in addition to painting, writes about the various controversies raised by this contentious artform and advocates groups dedicated to nude art. |
