If you never hiked KAPALOA FALLS on the Big Island of Hawaii, it was located on a hike along the Kohala ditch, which lead to this magnificent waterfall, dropping 300 feet above and 200 feet below the trail.
Before the devastating earthquake of October 2006, you could walk behind the waterfall for some great pictures. I was fortunate to have these pictures taken a week before it was destroyed by the earthquake. This once majestic waterfall is no longer accessible, making these pictures extremely rare.
I thank my husband who encouraged me to do a shoot, making it possible for us to share them with you. ~Kama'aina rates available~
