 Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Pavel Žilák, I graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Prague, study line book illustration. Since I left school i. e. in 1989, I have been working in the field of illustrating books, namely first of all those designed for children. So far I have illustrated more than 50 books subsequently published in many countries of the world.
Besides encyklopaedias on animals and plants i create POP-UP book .
So far I have made 13 POP-UP books primaey with fairy-tale motive. They wery translated into several languages.I cooperate with foreign puiblishers,Grund, REBO, etc. I illustrate the books completely, make paper engineering and texts. I carry out the illustrating using various techniques, e. g. watercolour, acryl etc. Besides illustrating I dedicate myself also to free creation. |
