 I paint to explore the potential within myself. Painting opens up a world of instinct and passion, no thoughts, just emotion.
I aspire to approach each painting with a renewed drive for discovering new techniques in the process of creating art by applying a method of layering colors and textures. I strive to construct a distinctive abstract work of art every time I pick up a paintbrush that invokes a reaction and stimulates the imagination of the viewer.
I am inspired by the colors and textures I see in everyday life and I try to recreate them in my paintings. Many of the implements I use are everyday items that may not be commonly used as painting tools. I keep my mind open and my thoughts clear when I paint in order to bring out the very best in my artwork.

I am the second oldest of five children and am big on family. I am married to my soul mate Gordon and we have two dogs and a cat. |
