The original measures framed 17 x 22 inches, and my medium was charcoal on cotton muslin. Thirty years ago I received recognition as one of the finest charcoal artist living. Ten years ago a fire destroyed my gallery, and I lost some of the best charcoal originals that I had ever done. It was a real learning lesson then as I had buyers for all that was in the gallery at the time. I won't lie, I became an alcoholic after the fire, and this was my first charcoal original after I became sober.
